Meet Mr Godwin Udom

A seasoned and experienced Senior Risk and Compliance Specialist in both banking and capital market sectors in Nigeria.

He has held lead positions at Coronation Merchant Bank Group as Head of Compliance for her Trust Services division. More so, at  Access Bank Group in her subsidiary capital market business called United Securities Limited; where he kick-started the Compliance Department with an oversight in Risk Management and Internal Control as Head of Compliance and Internal Control. Godwin has also worked in Afrinvest West Africa Limited as a Financial Analyst and a Financial Control Consultant with Pedabo (Audit Services).

Godwin has a wealth of combined experience in the financial services sector spanning over a decade in investment management, trusteeship of the capital market as well in Investment Banking. He is highly experienced in internal control, compliance, stakeholder engagement, corporate governance and enterprise risk  management with excellent exposures in regulatory compliance.

He is a fellow of the Compliance Institute Nigeria (FCIN), an associate member of Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), a certified member of International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals USA Inc. (IICFIP), and an affiliate member of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
